Use of Personal Information
Personal information will be collected and used by the Health Bureau and its authorised users, and the relevant government department(s) for activities related to the Health Research Symposium 2024 (the Symposium) such as registration, communication, sending updates of the Symposium, managing attendance and statistical analysis. You may choose to stop receiving updates of the Symposium at any time by email to info@hrs2024.hk. Personal information will not be kept longer than the time needed for the intended purpose.

Data Access
Registrants have the right to access and correct the personal data provided in accordance with sections 18 and 22 and Principle 6 of Schedule 1 of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486). Their right of access includes the right to obtain a copy of their personal data provided in the registration form. Whilst every attempt will be made to ensure that all aspects of the Symposium mentioned on the Symposium website will take place as scheduled, the Organiser reserves the right to make changes to the programme without notice as and when deemed necessary.

Insurance and Liability
In registering for the Symposium, participants agree that neither the Symposium nor the Organiser will accept liability whatsoever. Participants are requested to make their own arrangements in respect of health, travel and other necessary insurances.
